释义	王子余臣（？—前760）或作王子余，又称携王。西周末人。周幽王之子。犬戎灭周，幽王死，申侯、鲁侯、许文公前已立原太子宜臼于申，是为平王。虢公翰又立之于携（在今陕西境内），二王并立。平王十一年（前760），他为晋文侯所杀。
