常识	宗元鼎
释义	宗元鼎（1620—1698）清诗人。字定九，号香斋，又号梅岑，别号东原居士、梅西居士、小香居士。江南兴化（今属江苏）人。康熙十八年（1679）贡生，考授州同知，未就。家苦贫，榜其处曰新柳堂，课一二老仆，耕废田以食。酷嗜梅花，堂有古梅一株，人谓之“宗郎梅”。其诗师事王士禛，士禛《渔洋诗话》评之为“以风调为主，酷学《才调集》”。七言绝句最受称赏，“以神韵论，可称得髓者”（《晚晴簃诗汇》）。著有《芙蓉集》。生平事迹见《清史列传》卷七〇、《清史稿》卷四八四、《国朝耆献类征》卷四二三。
