常识	袁义
释义	袁义明庐州无为（今属安徽）人，本姓张，名四为。元至正十九年（1359）投朱元璋，任亲军元帅，赐姓名。历官指挥佥事、同知。洪武十四年（1381）从沐英征云南，留镇楚雄，迁卫指挥使。入朝，以其老，命染须发还任。历二十年，垦田筑堰，修城架桥，规划周详。建文元年（1399）召为右军都督府佥事，进同知。卒于官。
