fast-talk (someone) into (something)
To persuade someone to do something by speaking to them in a fervent, facile, and (usually) manipulative or deceptive manner. Be careful when you speak to the police—their detectives could fast-talk you into believing you'd killed your own mother.
fast-talk someone into something
to use deceitful talk to get someone to do something. You can't fast-talk me into giving you money. How dumb do you think I am? Max tried to fast-talk Lefty into robbing a bank with him.
