释义	马镫马具。骑马时踏脚的装置，悬挂在鞍子两边的皮带上。中国发现最早的马镫是在长沙西晋永宁二年（302）墓葬出土的陶骑俑上。现存最早的马镫实物是甘肃武威南滩魏晋墓出土之铁马镫，十六国北燕冯素弗墓出土有木芯外裹鎏金铜片马镫。在辽代墓葬中常见用铜铁制作的马镫随葬品。
