释义	苴古国名。在今四川广元南。《史记·张仪列传》：“苴蜀相攻击，各来告急于秦。”张守节正义引《华阳国志》云：“昔蜀王封其弟于汉中，号曰苴侯，因命之邑曰葭萌。苴侯与巴王为好，巴与蜀为仇，故蜀王怒，伐苴。苴奔巴，求救于秦。秦遣张仪……灭蜀，因取苴与巴焉。”
