释义	罗旁地区名。明、清对今广东云雾山西北、云开大山东南，西起大人山、东至西江一带地区的泛称。因罗旁山得名。山区多瑶、僮村寨，明万历五年（1577）右副都御史凌云翼在此破瑶寨五百余所，置罗定州（今市），领东安（今云浮市）、西宁（今郁南县南）二县。
