常识	王之臣
释义	王之臣明陕西潼关卫（今潼关）人。万历进士。授知县，累迁宣大巡抚。天启六年（1626）经略蓟辽，因与袁崇焕不协，受命专督关内。次年任兵部尚书，不久代袁崇焕督师，兼辽东巡抚。崇祯元年（1628）召还。著有《行边疏草》、《督师疏草》等。
