常识	杖刑
释义	杖刑古代刑罚名目。用官杖责打犯人脊背或臀部、腿部。唐律定为“五刑”之二，重于笞刑，轻于徒刑。五刑之中，除笞、死二刑外，杖、徒、流均要行杖刑。杖刑原定一百、九十、八十、七十、六十下共五等，宋代行*折杖法，顺次改罚臀杖二十、十八、十七、十五、十三下五等。元明以后复旧制。
