1. To engage in a particular task with enthusiasm or vigor. A: "I haven't packed anything yet." B: "Well then you better get busy—we leave for the airport in an hour!"
2. slang To have sex. A: "I heard those two got busy last night after the party." B: "Well, they did spend the whole night flirting!"
