释义	作意梵文Manaskāra的意译。佛教用语。有部大地法之一，瑜伽行派、法相宗遍行之一。指使心警觉以引起活动的精神作用。《俱舍论》卷四：“作意，谓能令心警觉。”《大乘广五蕴论》：“云何作意？谓令心发悟为性，令心心法现前警动，是忆念义，任持攀缘心为业。”
