常识	香山监
释义	香山监官署名。明永乐五年（1407）始置，初属北京苑马寺，十八年随该寺并入太仆寺。掌蕃养马匹，以备军需。设监正一人，正九品，监副一人，从九品，录事一人。下辖清流、广蕃、龙泉、松林四苑，苑设圉长一人，从九品，掌具体牧养之事。
