释义	金城县西汉置。治今甘肃兰州市西北。属金城郡。十六国前凉为金城郡治，西秦乞伏乾归称河南王，迁都于此。北魏废。隋大业初改子城县为金城县。治今兰州市。后改为五泉县。唐咸亨二年（671）复改为金城县。属兰州。天宝元年（742）复名五泉县。
