释义	五寨明福建防御倭寇的五个水寨。即福宁（今霞浦）之峰火门、福州之小埕澳、兴化（今莆田）之南日山、泉州之浯屿、漳州之西门澳（又称铜山）。景泰三年（1452）镇守尚书薛希琏奏请修建，后废。嘉靖时巡抚谭纶建议重修。
