常识	白帝城
释义	白帝城在今重庆奉节县东白帝山上。东汉初公孙述筑。述自号白帝，故以为名，并移鱼复县治此。城居高山，形势险要，三国时蜀汉以为防吴重镇。刘备为吴将陆逊所败，退居此城。后死于城西之永安宫。北魏、北周及唐、南宋历为巴东郡、信州、夔州治。
