释义	涂田沿海地区垦殖的耕地。海潮挟带泥沙，淀积于海滨，状若涂泥，筑堤围垦，遂成耕地。宋代已经开发。近海种水稗，稍远植水稻，若雨水调和，略有收获，相当于下等田。经改良，其收获可在常田之上。
