常识	方大湜
释义	方大湜（？—1886）清湖南巴陵（今岳阳）人，字菊人。咸丰五年（1855），以诸生而起家军旅，授广济知县。十一年太平军攻克广济，被革职留任。同治八年（1869）擢宜昌知府，捐貲赈灾，后累迁至直隶布政使、山西布政使。所至办学校、兴蚕桑、治水利，尤严义利之辨。著有《蚕桑提要》、《农桑提要》、《捕蝗纂要》、《堤工摘要》等书。
