常识	广陵县
释义	广陵县秦置。一说战国楚置。在今江苏扬州市西北蜀冈上。隋开皇十八年（598）改为邗江县，大业初改为江阳县。后省入江都县。唐贞观十八年（644）分江都县复置江阳县，五代南唐复为广陵县。治今扬州市。北宋熙宁五年（1072）又省入江都县。南渡后复置。元废。西汉为荆、吴、江都、广陵等国治，东汉、东晋、南朝为广陵郡治。地扼南北交通津要，东晋南朝建为重镇。《南齐书·州郡志》：“晋末以广陵控接三齐，故青、兖同镇。”时多侨置州郡县于此。
