常识	子囊
释义	子囊（？—前559）一称公子贞。春秋时楚国人。楚共王二十三年（前568），任令尹。西联秦，攻郑、宋，与晋争霸。楚共王去世前，因鄢陵之战败于晋，遗言以“灵”或“厉”为谥。他因共王有功于楚，且知错，终以“共”为谥。楚康王元年（前559），率师伐吴，吴军不出，返时遭吴邀击，大败。归国不久即病死。临终嘱子庚必在郢筑城以防吴。
