常识	十八房
释义	十八房官名。明代科举会试中房考官的合称。明初，会试同考官只用八人，其后渐增。正德六年（1511）任用十七人，分《诗经》五房，《易经》、《书经》各四房，《春秋》、《礼记》各二房。至万历十四年（1586）定《诗经》、《易经》各五房，《书经》四房，《春秋》、《礼记》各二房，共十八房。四十四年，再增《诗经》、《易经》各一房，遂为二十房。
