一名兜鍪。俗称头盔。古代防御用装备。商周时以青铜铸成，形如圆帽，两侧与后部向下延伸，以保护头部。冑顶或有直立圆管，以插缨饰，有的有钮，同时冑下缘两旁也有小钮，用以穿连皮带，系束在头上。战国时出现铁冑，为铁片连缀而成。- 翁荣标
