释义	七鲲身本为今台湾台南市西南、高雄市西北沿海沙洲，自东南往西北逶迤六十余里，断续联结成七屿，相距各里许，势若贯珠，犹如鲲鱼鼓浪，故名。洲多杂木，有泉甘美。北端的一鲲身地最广，与鹿耳门遥对，控大员港出入口。二鲲身至七鲲身居者多渔户。十九世纪后期港湾逐渐淤浅，遂与陆地连接。
