唐王洞位于菊花岛大龙宫寺南约50米处，洞长约2000米，洞高2米许。此洞墙壁用料多为不规则的石块垒砌而成。但洞的上盖和下底则完全选用若干块天然石板铺设而成。此洞的名字有两种传说，其一，因燕太子丹曾在洞避过难，故称"藏王洞" ;其二，因唐大太宗李世民东征时，曾在此洞避过雨，又称"唐王洞"。
