严家祠堂位于咸丰县城西北40公里的尖山乡大水坪村，总建筑面积736平方米。严家祠堂是由当地的严姓族人集资修建，于清朝光绪元年(1875年)伐木兴工，光绪三年建成。严家祠堂是一栋砖木结构的四合院，主体分门厅、亭院、正堂三大部分。
