A play on the established phrase "couch potato," someone who similarly spends too much time on the couch watching television (or playing video games, etc.). I've been playing this addictive online video game, and it has turned me into a total mouse potato! This new computer is for school work, do you understand? I don't want you turning into a mouse potato.
