Someone who is an easy target to be scammed, cheated, or otherwise victimized. You need to be careful when people call up claiming to work for your bank. More often than not, they're just fishing for patsies. The CEO had been illegally siphoning funds for years, and he manipulated the paper trail so that his assistant was left as a patsy for the crime.
