Ignorant may imply lacking in education or knowledge, or it may mean uninformed on some specific subject; therefore, one may speak of an ignorant savage and also of a learned man who is ignorant of practical matters.

Ignorant 指缺少教育或知识，或指对于某事茫然不知；故可指愚昧之野蛮人，亦可指昧于实际事务之学者。

Illiterate means lacking knowledge derived from reading, and, esp. unable to read or write.

Illiterate 乃指文盲而言，尤指不能阅读或写字之人。

Uneducated means lacking systematic mental instruction or training.

Uneducated 则指未受有系统之教导或训练而言。
