there's no help for (something)
Some situation, fact, or piece of information cannot be ignored or avoided. Advocating for renewable energy is important, but there's no help for the fact that the world needs non-renewable energy sources as well. I've been trying to ignore this pain in my chest for over a week now, but there's no help for it: I need to see a doctor.
there’s no ˈhelp for it
(especially British English) it is not possible to avoid doing something that may harm somebody in some way: There’s no help for it. We shall have to call the police.
