Someone who spraypaints or otherwise renders graffiti onto public surfaces, especially in order to display a signature style, image, or piece of writing (a "tag"). A couple of taggers have been leaving their marks on buildings around the city. Police picked up a tagger trying to spray his tag onto the side of the bridge.
