talk of (someone or something)
1. verb To discuss, speak about, speculate on, etc., someone or something. We had talked of dissolving the company, but I don't think we'll go down that road just yet. I could overhear the officers talking of someone who sounded awfully similar to my friend Michael.
2. noun Discussions, speculations, rumors, etc., about something. There has been talk of mass layovers in the company. Any talk of insurrection is done in the lowest of whispers in the police state.
