more fool (one)

An expression mocking a decision or action that one thinks to be particular stupid or foolhardy. If you give money to Jeremy and expect him to pay you back, then more fool you. A: "So, you sold your car and bought a nice bike, but now you're moving to the middle of the countryside?" B: "I know, more fool me."

used as an exclamation indicating that a specified person is unwise to behave in such a way.
