fill (one's) hand
1. To draw a firearm into one's hand, as in preparation for a gunfight. Fill your hand, stranger, you've been talkin' fighting words all day and I've had enough!
2. biblical To be consecrated or initiated as a priest, i.e., by placing objects of worship or holy sacrifice into one's hands. After years of studying in the rectory, young Adam was finally ready to fill his hands and enter the priesthood.
