ride to (something or some place)
To go to some location while riding a vehicle or animal. A noun or pronoun can be used between "ride" and "to" to specify what is being ridden. Let's take our bikes and ride to the shopping mall after lunch. I'm planning on riding the train to Denver this summer to visit my sister. The two horsemen rode to town to fetch a doctor.
ride to some place
to travel to a place, riding something such as a horse or a bicycle, or a vehicle one does not drive. I will ride to town and get the doctor. Tom will ride to the store on his bike to get a loaf of bread.
