shuffler

1. Someone who walks in a very slow or ponderous manner; one who shuffles. I got stuck behind a whole group of shufflers during the tour, so I didn't make it to everything in the museum I had wanted to see.
2. By extension, someone who is very slow or reluctant to act; one who does or will not do what is necessary or beneficial. She had such aspirations as a teenager, but 20 years of working in this office has ground her down to a dead-eyed shuffler in life. Our country is never going to get out of this economic rut with these weak-willed shufflers leading our government.
3. slang The reanimated corpse of a human that shuffles from place to place in a mindless, animalistic manner; a zombie. In the film, the group of survivors hide out in an abandoned mall, venturing into town to gather supplies while trying to avoid the shufflers wandering around the city.
