slip around
1. To slip, glide, or skid around some area, especially in an uncontrollable manner. Ice skating always sounds like it will be fun, but I just spend the whole time slipping around like an idiot.
2. To circumvent or circumnavigate someone or something in a surreptitious or inconspicuous manner. The criminal slipped around the police roadblock undetected. I cornered the thief, but he managed to slip around me.
3. To travel to the rear of some place very quickly or inconspicuously. We'll need to slip around back so we don't wake my parents.
