goggle at (someone or something)
To stare at someone or something in surprise with the eyes open very wide. I have some great pictures of the kids goggling at the giraffes at the zoo. It probably wasn't the best reaction, but I was so shocked that I could only goggle at Mary when she told me she was pregnant.
goggle at someone or something
to stare at someone or something with bulging eyes. Don't stand there goggling at me! The child stood there and goggled at the newborn lamb.
